Windsurf Instructor Fast-track
Windsurf Instructor Fast-track is designed for confident, intermediate windsurfers who want to devote some time to developing skills on the water, combined with instructor training in a superb location.

The training
is eligible for UK Armed Forces resettlement funding for service leavers.

The first two weeks provide an intensive foundation course, including personal performance coaching, first aid and rescue boat driving. The final two weeks are devoted to instructor training, focusing on the coaching techniques needed to inspire beginners. You will develop an imaginative approach to teaching safe and efficient windsurfing, as well as the theory that underlies it. We make sure you have time to learn and practise all the necessary skills before being examined.

To gain the RYA instructor qualification you will need to demonstrate RYA Intermediate Non-planing windsurfing ability, good communication skills, an understanding of RYA training, in-depth theory knowledge, group management ability, safety awareness and an effective coaching style.

Flying Fish training ensures you enter your final assessment ready and expecting to pass.

The Fast-track takes place at Balmoral Windsurfing, our specialist centre on Sydney Harbour. For more information on the training location and our accommodation at Queenscliff and Manly, use the Destinations link above left.

If you travel with Flying Fish, our flight leaves London on Wednesday and arrives Sydney on the start date, Friday.
