Stay with us in Cowes on the Isle of Wight for a sailing event, a Flying Fish course or simply for a great holiday by the sea.
Our waterside accommodation is at Point Cottages, near to the ‘floating bridge’ linking Cowes with East Cowes.
The cottages are usually available for 7 nights, Saturday-Saturday, but see the dropdown box above right if you are looking for the date of a specific sailing event. If we have space at three weeks notice we will take bookings for weekends (arrive Friday for 3 nights and leave Monday) or midweek (arrive Monday for 4 nights and leave Friday).
These three historic homes are simply but comfortably furnished. They are equipped with good laundry facilities and kitchens that make self-catering a pleasure - or you can take a short walk into the centre of town if you prefer to eat out at one of the many restaurants and pubs.
POINT HOUSE sleeps eight in four bedrooms. It is an old longshoreman's house with riverside views and a courtyard.
Ground floor: Kitchen, dining room, utility room, shower room with toilet & basin, 1 twin bedroom with toilet & basin. First floor: Lounge, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with bath, separate shower, toilet & basin. Second floor: 2 twin attic bedrooms with views (steep stairs).
Services: GFCH. All fuel, power & bed linen (duvets/blankets) included. Parking for 1 car. Cot & h/chair on request. W/machine. T/dryer. D/washer. M/wave. F/freezer. Payphone. Courtyard with shared access. Patio furniture. Access to river and quay; all visitors should exercise caution.
MID POINT sleeps seven in three bedrooms. It is an upstairs apartment with marvellous Solent views and a balcony overlooking the river.
First floor: Lounge/dining room overlooking river, kitchen, utility, shower room with toilet & basin, 3 bedrooms - 1 first floor double with en-suite shower room, 1 second floor eaves twin with en-suite toilet & basin, 1 with 3 singles.
Services: GFCH. All fuel, power & bed linen inc. Parking for 1 car. Cot & h/chair on request. W/machine. T/dryer. M/wave. D/washer. F/freezer. Payphone. Balcony with table & chairs. BBQ on req. Access to river and quay; all visitors should exercise caution.
POINT QUAY sleeps nine in five bedrooms. It is right on the river, with a balcony looking out to the Solent and East Cowes.
Ground floor: Large dining kitchen, shower room with toilet and basin, second shower room with basin, separate toilet & basin, 3 bedrooms - 1 triple (bunks plus single bed), 1 twin, 1 single.
First floor: Large lounge with balcony.
Second floor: 2 bedrooms - 1 twin, 1 single with en-suite bathroom with toilet, bath & basin.
Services: GFCH. All fuel, power & bed linen inc. Parking for 1 car. Cot & h/chair on request. W/machine. T/dryer. M/wave. D/washer. F/freezer. Payphone. Quayside picnic bench. BBQ on request. Access to river and quay; all visitors should exercise caution.
