Sail out of the Sydney Harbour 'Heads' and into the great Pacific Ocean. Our northbound offshore passages take you along the spectacular New South Wales coastline from Sydney to Coffs Harbour or to Surfers Paradise on the Sunshine Coast. The sailing is magnificent and you can expect to see dolphins playing off the bow, the occasional whale, jaw-dropping sunsets and vibrant phosphoresence.
Popular stopover points along the way include the crystal clear waters of Port Stephens, a picturesque harbour surrounded by unspoiled coastline and Esmeralda Cove on beautiful Broughton Island. The lively city of Coffs Harbour sits on the edge of the New England National Park - vivid rainforests and a superb string of golden beaches, washed by surf.
Ocean passage destinations are confirmed when we know the weather forecast. The options include a coastal hop to Southport, followed by the ocean passage to World Heritage site Lord Howe Island. Favourite alternatives are the voyage south to Hobart, Tasmania, and the warm water passage from Sydney to the coral cays of the Great Barrier Reef.
