RYA Yachtmaster Essentials is a 'zero to hero' course based at Cowes in the UK. When it was introduced by Flying Fish in 2005 it was acclaimed as the best value RYA Yachtmaster course on the market.

Andy explained: 'We have kept all the training and the qualifications you need on the way to your RYA Yachtmaster/MCA Master of Yachts 200gt.
'We have simply cut out many of the milebuilding passages, and the extras of our full RYA traineeships,' he said. 'That means no diving, no spinnaker handling or race training - and 1,500 fewer miles than you log during our Yachtmaster Pro course.'
