The yacht race training experts at Flying Fish are getting ready for the 2009 Cowes racing season. Places to race in this year's Fastnet Race in August are all taken up but it's not too late to book a yacht race training course, the Round the Island Race or the most famous yacht event of all, the Cowes Week Regatta.

Ready for a race campaign now? You can join Flying Fish as an individual crew member. Get ready to brush up your spinnaker handling and racing techniques on our training days, then compete in one of the world's great sailing events.

In 2009 Flying Fish UK is entering the Round the Island Race, Cowes Week and the Fastnet Race. You can join as an individual or get a race yacht crew together and Flying Fish will fix you up with a competitive skipper on a race-tuned Beneteau 40.7 yacht.

Sydney Harbour on 26 December

If you can't get to Cowes, how about Sydney? The annual Sydney Hobart Yacht Race is a sell-out event for Flying Fish Australia, leaving Sydney Harbour on 26 December and arriving in Hobart, Tasmania, in time for massive New Year celebrations. In 2008 Flying Fish Arctos came second in division, putting down a challenging marker for next year's yacht race crews.
