America's Cup postponed again - yacht race with us instead
at the lack of racing in Valencia, we are getting excited about the forthcoming season of racing in the UK, both around the cans and offshore.
After a successful 2009 with our two 40.7's doing well in Cowes week, the Fastnet and RORC qualifiers, we are very excited about what 2010 has to offer.
In non Fastnet years, many sailors in the UK struggle to find boats which are going to race offshore as there is no need for the qualifying races. As a result of this shortage, we are hitting six of the main races this season so that you can still get out there! This gives you the opportunity to race to France on three separate occasions.
As we consistently rated in the top third of IRC1 last season, we hope that we can go even higher this year.
For many, Cowes week is where the action is - competitive racing all day and hitting the party scene at night. Taking part in a regatta the size of Cowes week is a life long ambition - and rightly so!
Our Cowes week campaign in 2010 not only includes the racing but also a training weekend so that you can train as a crew. The aim of the weekend is to fine tune spinnaker work, drill practice and boat handling.
If you are keen to prove that a bit of wind can't stop you, unlike the America's Cup sailors, sign up to one of our yacht race events, either offshore with us in the RORC series or around the cans at Cowes.
