Do I need qualifications to work in the superyacht industry?

o work in the superyacht industry, you need a variety of qualifications. At Flying Fish, we offer a range of Yachtmaster courses accredited by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA), the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and Yachting Australia.

Fire FightingYou will need a RYA Yachtmaster ticket and STCW95 Basic Safety Training >> prior to employment on a superyacht. These qualifications illustrate your commitment to the profession, as well as ensuring you have the necessary skills.

With Flying Fish, you can take these qualifications in Cowes in the UK, or travel to Sydney Harbour in Australia. Intensive learning experiences, these courses offer exciting opportunities to travel as well as learn.
