In Greece we sail Laser 1 and Laser 2000 dinghies for basic training at Club Vass, moving next door to Wildwind for multihulls and high-performance sailing dinghies. Wildwind is famous for its fleet of Hobie Cats, RS dinghies and performance Lasers - and an exhilarating race programme.

In Sydney our dinghies are based at Middle Harbour Yacht Club. Here we use Magno double hander trapeze boats, with asymmetric spinnakers, and Pico single handers. The prevailing sunny weather of Sydney brings moderate to strong North Easterly winds which are perfect for getting these boats up and planing, while the occasional ‘southerly buster’ will have them really flying.
All the equipment you need is included for entry-level sailing courses. If you join a course leading to an instructor certificate, you should provide a few items of your own personal gear.
