If you stay on the surface you'll miss out on some of the hidden wonders of the world.
Our professional dive programme is an educational adventure leading to internationally respected qualifications and, just as importantly, employment opportunities worldwide. Diving is one of those rare occupations in which you can be paid to do the thing you love in some of the most beautiful places in the world. It's a lifestyle most people only get to dream about - and Flying Fish can help you turn the dream into reality.
Flying Fish courses follow the training scheme of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), the world leader in diver education. PADI's modular course structure is now available in 175 countries worldwide. Some modules are compulsory, as you progress to Divemaster, Open Water Scuba Instructor and beyond. Others are optional 'specialty' courses, designed to complement your diver training and add depth to your basic education.
100 people a year take part in a professional dive programme with Flying Fish. We train equal numbers of men and women and see an even spread of ages from 18 to forty - and a few who are older. The majority are from Britain, Australia or North America but we welcome candidates from anywhere. Most have a vocational purpose and are heading for a career in diving, while some see the programme as a personal challenge. They are either taking a well-earned break from a busy career or embarking on a gap year, semester or summer abroad. You are sure to find like-minded people in your group.
Newcomer or experienced diver, you'll find a course for you at Flying Fish.
