In the North we dive the Mediterranean. Down under we are in Sydney and on the Great Barrier Reef.
Sydney, Australia, has temperate diving. The water varies from 15 to 24 degrees Celsius, or 59 to 75 Fahrenheit. The visibility averages 12 meters throughout the year but
often reaches 25-30 meters during winter. There are
more than 40 dive sites to choose from and you will see
a great variety of sea life here: Weedy Sea Dragons,
Giant Cuttlefish, Blue Grouper, Bull Rays, Wobbygong shark, Port Jackson shark, Grey Nurse
shark - and hundreds of other species.

Greece abounds with submerged antiquities and interesting sealife but in the past there have been heavy restrictions on where you can dive. The Greek Government has attempted to protect ancient sculptures, walls, and other artefacts by limiting scuba diving to a few approved areas. Local knowlege is the key to successful diving here. Government restrictions are now easing and you can be the first on the scene to view the region's historic and natural wonders. Flying Fish courses are based at Nautilus Diving Club, Vassiliki, Lefkas, Greece, for entry-level diving and fast-track training up to PADI Rescue Diver level.
