Windsurfing equipment

boardsatvass.jpgAll windsurfing equipment is provided when you train
with Flying Fish.

Equipment development has revolutionised this sport
in the last few years. Learning is easier at the start and
progress is faster as you move on. Beginners enjoy the
stability of wide-style boards and lightweight rigs. Experienced windsurfers experience impressive
performance from the latest advanced equipment.

In Greece  we are at Club Vass, famous as the biggest
windsurf centre in the Mediterranean, with 250 boards
from Starboard, Hi-Fly and Tabou, and 350 Gaastra rigs -
all new each year.

In Sydney, Australia, the kit at Balmoral includes a fleet of widestyle F2 Primes. Ultra-light composite construction and early planing performance make these the ideal boards for progression from early learning to full-on carve gybing. For stronger winds and more advanced sailing there is also an impressive set of Starboard, Fanatic and F2 short boards. Power is provided by bright orange Maui freestyle wave sails to ensure the Flying Fish team has maximum impact around the beaches of Sydney Harbour.

All the equipment you need is included for entry-level windsurfing courses. If you join a course leading to an instructor's certificate, you should provide a few items of your own personal gear.
