Our UK sailing school is at the Solent port of Cowes on the Isle of Wight. The Solent is a broad stretch of tidal water where you can learn to sail between the Island and England's mainland. With complex tides, busy shipping and a varied coastline, it is regarded as one of the best places to gain experience as a sailor.
Cowes is also the perfect base for longer distance sail training including mile building and passage making to France, the Channel Islands, Ireland and England's west country.
You train on our fleet of Beneteau 40.7 yachts - comfortable cruiser/racers, ideal for learning to sail and improving techniques. If you are completing one of our Master of Yachts Traineeships in the UK and Australia, you will sail on 40.7's in both locations.

In order to prepare for the Yachtmaster exam, we offer a comprehensive 12 day course which includes two days for the final examination. This course forms our Yachtmaster/Master of Yachts Part 3 (Yachtmaster Offshore) >>
