Flying Fish yachts are available for skippered or bareboat charter from Cowes and Hamble in the UK and for skippered charter from the Middle Harbour Yacht Club in Sydney.
Charter one of our yachts and avoid the costs of ownership. For many, chartering is the simplest and cheapest way to get out on the water, plus you have the back up of our office in Cowes. Our boats in the UK also have the added security of Sea Start cover. You can be reassured that while on the boat, if something goes wrong, help it as hand at all times.
Charter a Flying Fish yacht in the UK or Australia and cruise from Middle Harbour to the Opera House on Sydney Harbour and Chichester to Yarmouth in the Solent. In the UK if you wish to go further afield, you have superb access to England's West Country or France.
In the UK you can charter any of our yachts from a day to a week, longer by prior arrangement. Our Beneteau 40.7 Distinctions, the highly regarded Bruce Farr designed yacht, are ideal for fast cruising or can be chartered for racing and regatta's with the addition of race sails and racing insurance.
If you are looking to charter for the first time in the UK and would like some added security, why not consider taking along one of our skippers.
In Sydney our fleet of yachts include the same design of Beneteau 40.7 and "Arctos" our cutter rigged ocean racer. "Arctos" is a McIntyre 55, which was designed for round the world ocean racing and is fully set up with category 1 safety and communications equipment. "Arctos" is regularly chartered for offshore races including the annual Sydney Hobart race and is also available as a skippered charter vessel. The Beneteau 40.7's are also available for skippered charter.
Your safety is our priority. In both the UK and Australia, our yachts are equipped with the latest safety and navigational equipment, ensuring that you feel confident and safe on the water. You can expect to find modern Raymarine C series chart plotters with AIS, ICS Navtex weather systems, Simrad DSC/VHF radios and Raymarine instrumentation/autohelms.
The Beneteau 40.7's are all supplied with comprehensive inventories and we will ensure that you have plenty of tea and coffee! The layout of the 40.7 is very practical with 2 double rear cabins, a large saloon and forepeak. In racing layout, the forepeak is often used as a sail locker but for general cruising, the boat will sleep six in comfort or eight using the saloon bunks.
The McIntyre 55, "Arctos" is a fully equipped racing yacht and was designed to tackle the most challenging stretches of water including the Southern Ocean. The vessel is coded for category 1 races which means that it carries an extensive range of safety equipment and is built to very strict guidelines. Used primarily for offshore race charters, this vessel will tackle the most challenging of conditions.
