Flying Fish owns a fleet of yachts which are available for skippered or bareboat charter from Cowes or skippered charter from the Middle Harbour Yacht Club in Sydney. In the UK, explore the best the Solent has to offer or head further afield to the West Country or even France for some great cheese and wine! In Australia, marvel at the stunning waterside properties and world famous Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge as you cruise around one of the world's largest and most beautiful natural harbours.
 In the UK, our two Bruce Farr designed Beneteau 40.7 Distinction yachts are ideal for fast, comfortable cruising, sleeping eight in three cabins and the saloon. Furling headsails and Dacron mainsails make for easy handling. Or charter our yachts for a race event or regatta and they will be turned into full race mode, complete with hoist and drop headsails, Kevlar mainsails and spinnakers. Our yachts are coded for 10 people and insurance is included with all race events. We can also provide a professional skipper and first mate if you don't have anough experience to skipper the yacht yourself.
In addition to the JP Morgan Round the Island Race, the Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week and the biennial Rolex Fastnet Race, both yachts may be chartered for all industry specific race events such as the Little Britain Challenge Cup and the EMC Silicon Cup, as well as the Dartmouth Regatta, the Warsash Spring Series and the RSYC Frostbite Series.

 In Sydney, our fleet includes two Beneteau 40.7 Distinctions as well as Arctos, our cutter-rigged McIntyre 55. Arctos was designed for round the world ocean racing and is fully equipped with category 1 safety and communications equipment. All three of our yachts are available for skippered yacht charter whilst Arctos also takes part in the annual Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race for which she is also available for either bareboat or skippered charter.

What qualifications do I need to charter a Beneteau 40.7? We like you to have three years' experience sailing similar size/type yachts or a Coastal Skipper qualification. If you are unsure of your level of experience or whether you have suitable qualifications, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss your options.
