 Flying Fish is proud of its unique status as the only Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Sailing School delivering training both in Sydney Harbour and at the RYA's home ports of Hamble and Cowes in the UK. In Sydney, we also offer Yachting Australia courses.
Flying Fish Australia is based at Sydney's Middle Harbour Yacht Club. Beginners learn to sail on Catalina yachts and Magno dinghies, while experts perfect racing skills on X-Yachts and Beneteau 40.7s.
Our weekend courses include Start Yachting,
Competent Crew, Day Skipper and Inshore Skipper. We also run spinnaker training, dinghy sailing and powerboat courses. Our five day live-aboard options include Competent Crew and Day Skipper.
Want to race? We offer a race crew package at weekends for complete beginners. This includes training for Competent Crew, followed by a weekend of spinnaker and race training. The programme includes three months membership of the Middle Harbour Yacht Club - the perfect introduction to racing. Or join us for five days of race training or the Coffs Harbour or Hamilton Island package.
