Wednesday 13th May – COVID – 19 update
Since lockdown began at the end of March, it has been a tricky few months as we adjust to our new way of living. With so much time for reflection, we have seen an increase in customers considering a new career path. After weeks of isolation and much heartache felt by many across the UK, we may be able to see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
The Prime Minister’s speech on Sunday night and subsequent briefings have provided a road map to recovery. We are now able to see how some sectors of the economy are able to open again. There are several stages to the recovery plan, as a training provider, we believe that we fit into step 3 of this plan and as such we must remain closed for practical training until the 4th of July, at the earliest.
In light of this recent announcement, we are excited to begin planning the reopening of our training programmes however, our overriding priority is the safety of our customers, employees, and the public we engage with.
What to expect from us
We will be adjusting the course dates you see online to make sure we have as much availability as possible and do what we can to increase capacity.
Whether you have booked a course in Cowes or Greece before the 4th of July, you will receive a phone call from one of our team this week to discuss your course and future plans. Our aim is to reschedule your course to start as soon as possible.
If you have booked a course after the 4th of July, then at this stage your course is scheduled to start as planned. All our Australia course dates from September 2020 remain unchanged at this time.
I want to thank you for all your support and kindness that you have shown to us during this very difficult time.
