Deckhand jobs come in all shapes and sizes, from full time employment to seasonal work. A deckhands work is hugely varied, but your main responsibility will be to maintain the exterior of the yacht, ensuring it is in pristine condition the entire time.
If you are looking for a junior deckhand role (your first job on board), at a minimum you must have your ENG1 Medical and STCW. These are requirements to be able to get employed and work on a yacht. For the best and quickest path to get experience and all the qualification you need, we recommend going on a Deckhand Course.
