Overview

Our Dinghy Instructor Fast-Track Course is a four week programme for confident dinghy sailors looking for an all inclusive route to RYA Dinghy Instructor.

The Dinghy Fast-Track Course

To join our Dinghy Fast-Track Course you will have sailed different types of dingies and are being capable of sailing a dinghy without an instructor in light to moderate conditions. You would hold the RYA Level 3 certificate or have the equivalent Level 3 Sailing Skills.

The Dinghy Instructor Fast-Track Course builds on the core Level 3 Sailing Skills working towards the RYA Dinghy Instructor. You will learn more advanced sailing and instructional techniques. To improve overall knowledge we spend time on Multihulls as well as more complex boats as part of the Performance Sailing modules. Our Fast-Track Course is a great option if you are looking for a quick route though to Dinghy Instructor.

If you have not sailed for a while or would like to refresh all the core sailing skills then please consider our Dinghy Instructors course. This comprehensive course takes you from a sailor who has just started sailing to Dinghy Instructor in six weeks.

Why Flying Fish?

Our mission was to create the best Dinghy Instructors Course, run by seasoned professionals in the best location in the world. All Flying Fish Dinghy Instructor courses are based at Club Vass and Wildwind in Vassiliki, Greece. In such fantastic conditions, you will improve quickly and before long you will feel comfortable in performance dinghies.

Training in Greece

Our schedule has you training 6 days a week between 10am and 5pm. We also offer optional fitness training twice a week at 8am when you can enjoy mountain biking, SUP, circuits, swimming or yoga. There will be 3 hours of tuition before lunch then the same in the afternoon rounding up with a debrief at 5pm. The equipment is available to use after sessions and in your own time. You will have Saturdays off to enjoy Vassiliki and the stunning Island of Lefkada.

Life off the water is just as exciting as life on it. When the sun goes down Vassiliki comes alive, with great dining and socialising in town. The Club Vass and Wildwind BBQs and entertainment shows are legendary and are not to be missed!

Accommodation

If you choose our accommodation option, you’ll be staying in the famously known Fish House in Vassiliki town, close to the bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The Fish House is in the heart of the action and only a 10 minute walk from the training centre, Club Vass.

4 weeks using our self catering accommodation costs £600.

The Flying Fish Windsurfing and Dinghy Sailing programmes are so well liked and our customers have such an amazing time that many don’t come home, instead spending the rest of the season in Greece working for one of the holiday companies in the beautiful Greek Islands.
