Qualifying as a Dinghy Instructor opens up a world of opportunity to do what you love and get paid for it. Join Flying Fish, train to become an instructor and live outdoors

The Dinghy Instructor Fast-track is a four week training programme designed for confident, intermediate sailors who have good boat handling ability and are looking to gain their Dinghy Instructors qualification

To gain the RYA instructor qualification you need to demonstrate competence on the water having good communication skills, an understanding of the training scheme, in-depth theory knowledge, group management ability, safety awareness and an effective coaching style.

Training location

All Flying Fish Dinghy Instructor courses are based at Club Vass and Wildwind in Vasiliki – Greece arguably one of the best water sports location in Europe. With such fantastic conditions, you will improve quickly and find yourself feeling comfortable in performance dinghies.

We fly you to Greece, check you into our accommodation, the Fish House, introduce you to the lovely town of Vasiliki and allow you to settle in before training begins the following day.

Life off the water is just as exciting as life on. When the sun goes down Vasiliki then comes alive: the Club Vass and Wildwind BBQs and  entertainment shows are legendary. The whole of Vasiliki is in holiday mode during the summer months and with so many bars and tavernas to choose from you will have a fantastic night out with like-minded people.

Our instructors are all professional windsurfers and Dinghy instructors, very experienced, and passionate about their sport.

Customers have such a fantastic time that many don’t come home, instead spend the season in Greece Windsurfing or working as an instructor for one of the holiday companies who provide Watersports holidays in the beautiful Greek Islands.
