The Advanced Instructor Upgrade is designed for qualified windsurf instructors with significant experience in the RYA training scheme.
Eligible for UK Armed Forces resettlement funding for service leavers. Approved for Enhanced Learning Credits.
We deal with teaching techniques at the top of the sport, with the emphasis on personal coaching and elite performance. The company of expert colleagues on the course ensures you will enjoy a positive learning experience in an ideal training environment.
The first week is devoted to personal skills development under the guidance of expert coaches. We concentrate on advanced manoeuvres and individual freestyle technique.
The second week includes the RYA Advanced Instructor assessment course.
After training you will be equipped to instruct high-level windsurfing in the most challenging conditions.
The Advanced Upgrade is based at Club Vass at Vassiliki, Lefkas, Greece. Vassiliki is one of Europe's top high-wind resorts for windsurfing and you also will enjoy the occasional opportunity to race high performance Hobies, Lasers and RS dinghies next door at Wildwind.
Budget accommodation is at our own Fish House, simple tourist rooms in the village.
