 Flying Fish training is delivered by our own specialist coaches and trainers in yachting, dinghy sailing and windsurfing. For surfing, diving and snow sports we have teamed up with partners who are the best in the business.
The legend began in 1993 with windsurfing at Club Mistral in Barbados. Two years later we established our European base at Club Vass, Vassiliki, Greece. In 1996 we launched the now famous Yachtmaster Professional Traineeship at Sydney's Middle Harbour Yacht Club. This has proved a popular training adventure and is now available six times a year in England and Australia.
1998 saw the launch of dive traineeships at Sydney's Pro Dive Academy, joined in 2003 by Club Dahab on Egypt’s Red Sea and Nautilus Diving Club at Vassiliki in Greece. In 2004 we added ski and snowboard instructor training with YES Improvement at Whistler, Canada.
New for 2006 is windsurfing at Club Dahab in Egypt. The Red Sea is a top location for reliable wind and Dahab offers great training conditions.
We now train and place 600 candidates a year. We are confident that we offer the best courses available in our sports, in the most suitable locations. If you are making a serious career move, planning a gap year or just aiming for a great adventure - we look forward to welcoming you to Flying Fish!
