The course will help anybody wishing to sail offshore an understanding of how to evacuate your vessel in an emergency. This course is also accepted by the RYA as a prerequisite for commercial endorsement for Powerboat Level 2, advanced or RYA Yachtmaster offshore or Ocean certificates of Competence.

The course is divided into two sections: in the morning you are based in our classroom learning the theory of survival and getting to know the different types of equipment onboard. The afternoon is spent in a swimming pool where we show you how to use a life raft and techniques to help survival at sea.
