Our Yachtmaster Mile Builder course provides the opportunity to log sea miles and qualifying passages in preparation for assessment for the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate. You will take part in a series of extended passages by day and night, operating a watch system on board.

Course programme

These extended passages are a good opportunity to build up experience sailing offshore under the watchful eye of a Flying Fish instructor. You will also get the chance to practice offshore navigation, safety drills and gain lots of helming experience.

This course is a great way to log miles towards your RYA Coastal or Yachtmaster exam.

Book the one-week course and you will sail 300 miles. On the two-week mile builder, you will sail 800 miles.

For extended offshore passages, you will sail on Arctos our 55′ Ocean going yacht.
